A Commitment Woven Into Our Story
At Støberi, our rings are more than just beautifully crafted pieces—they are symbols of journeys, commitments, and connections. That’s why giving back has always been part of our foundation. Our partnership with Kiva is a deeply personal one, inspired by our own journey of supporting small businesses around the world.

It all began with a promise
A promise made between Støberi’s founder, Dave Schutz, and his wife, Amanda Schutz. Over the last 20 years, that promise has extended beyond their own vows into something bigger: a commitment to supporting entrepreneurs in meaningful, tangible ways.
To date, they have helped fund over two dozen businesses in 27 countries, providing small business owners the opportunity to grow and thrive.
Beginning in 2025, all Støberi customers are invited to join Dave and Amanda on this mission - with 5% of every ring purchase directly funding future micro-loans.

Why Kiva?
Kiva’s mission aligns with everything we believe in: empowering individuals, sustaining communities, and investing in the stories that shape our world. By donating 5% of every ring purchase, we’re creating a cycle of support—connecting our customers, our global makers, and independent business owners across the globe.

Success Story: Fatou's Farm
5% of every ring purchase goes directly to support small business owners around the world, helping them grow their businesses and achieve their dreams.
Here, we're thrilled to highlight a recent success story. Fatou is a farmer and mother in Senegal (she's the one waving in the photo). Along with a group of women in her town, she’s using a Kiva-funded loan to purchase seeds and other resources to grow crops that will sustain her community. Her goal is to reinvest in her farm and provide for her family’s basic needs, including food, healthcare, and education. These are the stories that remind us why we do what we do.
Your ring is more than jewelry. It’s a connection—to craftsmanship, to purpose, and to people like Fatou who are working to create better futures for their families.
Thank you for being part of our story.
Warmly,
Dave & Amanda
